Left coast waves

I have the opportunity to visit a friend and spend some time on the Pacific Northwest coast, and was wondering if it would be worth it (from a foiling perspective). I know better than to ask online about quality surfing waves, but what I’m looking for is shin to waist high mushy junk- perfect for foiling. Does that exist somewhere if I’m willing to search? Half the time when I check the reports it’s triple overhead- no thanks. Those folks in the Gorge must have some place they go. Maybe a little reform at a headland or rivermouth. Cold water not a problem, have good wetsuit. Never would I have imagined that my usual east coast small, short period, junk surf could be so desirable!
